ABOUT ME
I started in photography when my husband Chad and I got involved with search dog training. I enjoyed taking pictures of everyone working their dogs, when we got involved with Stillwater County Search and Rescue my photography increased and I enjoyed taking all the team pictures during trainings, missions and special events.
I have been taking pictures for about 21 years, I enjoy taking action photos, anything that requires detail in fast motion. I also enjoy wildlife and nature photography. However, my absolute favorite is dogs, any dog events I get the chance to photograph are my favorite!
Chad and I moved to Park City from Laurel over twenty years ago. We found a house we loved and it was very close to Sportsman's Park where we spent a lot of time with our two boys Kyle and Austin. Kyle is now married and lives just a few miles away, along with his wife and our two beautiful grand daughters. Austin is in the Air National Guard, after serving 6 years in the Air Force.
It wasn't very long after moving to Stillwater county that we got involved with Stillwater County SAR as I mentioned earlier. Our whole family was involved once we started training and deploying for both Absaroka Search Dogs and Stillwater county SAR. Our boys would 'get lost' every weekend helping train the dogs! Chad and I are both still involved with Stillwater County SAR and Chad has been the president for over 20 years. A few years into working with Stillwater County SAR I was talked into being a dispatcher for the sheriff's office. I absolutely loved dispatching but when the opportunity to move to an admin position came up I applied and I have been the sheriff's administrative assistant for several years now. I absolutely love that I am able to combine my work in search in rescue with my career!
I am now focusing less on search and rescue with the hopes of focusing more on my love of photography. I have had the opportunity to photograph a number of canine nosework events and trials, with a few more lined up for 2026. Please take a look around the galleries and contact me with any questions or opportunities you think my style might work for you or your event.
